PTA Programs

Every year the PTA creates, funds, and executes several programs. Not only do these offer educational learning, but they also build community and create a lot of fun! All of these programs happen because of our volunteers...so please pick one that interests you and pop over to our volunteer page to sign up!

Art a la Carte

Parents teach a lesson about a famous artist, and then lead children through an art project in the style of that artist.

Art Reflections

Art Reflections is a national art contest sponsored by the PTA. Children create art in numerous categories including visual art, dance, and music based on a specific theme.

Carnival

Carnival is our biggest community building event of the year. Think games, bounce houses, soak a teacher, confetti eggs, and much more.

Field Day

During the last month of school, all children are able to partake in various outdoor games. It is definitely a favorite day for our students!

Hands on Science

Twice a year, parents enter classrooms and lead hands on science experiments that directly pertain to lessons children are learning in school. Training is provided! We also need help sorting and distributing materials.

Harvest of the Month

This program features a different vegetable or fruit each month, and schools support farm-to-school and farm-to-cafeteria-table by purchasing fresh produce from our local farms.

Parent Breakfast

Come to school and spend a special morning with your student. Muffins with Moms occurs in the Fall and Donuts with Dads in the Spring.

Watch DOGS

Watch DOGS stands for Dads of Great Students. We encourage dads, grandpas, or uncles to take one day away from work to volunteer at our school. You will not only have lunch and recess with your students, but also help out in the classrooms and around the school.

World Culture Day

WCD is a fun event for the whole family. Each classroom learns about a different country and makes a country board which is displayed during an evening event for the whole family. Performers from different cultures perform for our school.
